Points to consider:
2024 designated venue is the John NiIand Scientia Building at the University of NSW, Randwick, Sydney. (This could change depending on the feedback result)
Pros:
Conference and Show will take up the entire building complex.
Show & Conference will all be under the same roof providing a captured audience & a unique atmosphere
Free parking all weekend & plenty of it
Easy to get to;15 mins (8km) from the City Centre.
City light rail runs every 4-8 minutes from Circular Quay & Moore Park with two lines running regularly in both directions
More cost effective for exhibitors and attendees
Close to plenty of pubs & restaurants in Randwick (including the race track)
Bump in Friday. Bump out Sunday
Cons:
Not in the city centre. Similar distance from Darling Harbour
Accommodation restricted immediately close to the venue and whilst there are pubs and eating places within walking distance, this is not Darling Harbour
Slightly smaller venue (gallery, spaces & theatres) but providing a more inclusive atmosphere
Light rail / bus or car required to reach the venue.

September 13th Bump In
Show Dates: Saturday 14th - Sunday 15th September 2024
Move the Show to 2025 - if you choose this, please provide a month & your reasoning.
Important considerations:
The Sydney Boat Show is on at Darling Harbour from August 1st - August 5, 2024 inclusive There is no longer a diving segment (AIDE) at the Sydney Boat Show. This makes OZTek | OZDive Show Australia's only dive show.
Being held at the same time as the Boat Show may be seen as a positive or a negative.
Shows would in different locations but there is enough time for those wishing to do so, can attend both without missing out.
The September dates may be perilously close to football finals and too near the start of the diving season.
Moving the show to 2025 will provide more dates options as well as venues. Please provide your input if you decide to chose 2025
