Max Gleeson and Lesley Hillyer have been diving together since 1996. In 2011, they began their largest project, filming the World War II wrecks of Truk Lagoon.
In 2013, they released the first of a two part series “Shipwrecks of Truk Lagoon The Classics”, a double DVD featuring the stories of the most popular wrecks.
Part 2 of the series will be released later this year, featuring the wrecks less commonly dived - the deeper, farthest flung and lesser known wrecks.
At Oztek, this presentation will feature what is arguably the most spectacular wreck in the Lagoon. Located close to the northeast passage and subject to strong current, this rarely visited wreck is the deepest clearest and blessed with stunning marine life - the Katsuragisan Maru.
